This is my 5th year of teaching.  I taught 3rd grade my first year in Ruleville, MS.

This is my 4th year to teach at Mamie Martin and I love it!  I was a 2nd grade teacher for 2 years and this is my 2nd year teaching 1st grade.

About Me!

Hi there!  My name is Susanah Godard and this is my 3rd year here at Mamie Martin and this is my 5th year to teach! I am so excited to be back in my home town working in the schools I grew up in!  

I am a Brookhaven native, I went to all the wonderful public schools that Brookhaven has to offer.  After graduating from Brookhaven High in 2008, I went to college at Delta State University where I got my B.S. in December 2013.  I am married to Steven Godard who is also from Brookhaven. We have a daughter named Lynsie Grace who goes to school at Brookhaven Elementary and a son named Gatlin.  Our family attends Heucks Retreat Baptist Church in Brookhaven and we have one dog, Tebow.  

I am so excited about the upcoming year and all that your children will learn but also everything that they will teach me!
