Bio

Hello!  My name is Kim Arnold, and I am the Instructional Coach at Mamie Martin.  I have been teaching at Martin for the past twelve years since my family and I relocated to Brookhaven from Jackson in 2004.  I am originally from Florence, Mississippi, where I graduated from Florence High School.  I attended Mississippi State University from 1990-1994 receiving a degree in Elementary Education.  I also have M.S. from Mississippi College in Dyslexia Therapy. Teaching kids to read is my passion!

My husband is Tripp Arnold.  He is a sales representative for a pharmaceutical company.  I have two children, Hannah and Sam.  My daughter is in the 11th grade at the Mississippi School of the Arts, and my Sam is an 8th grader at Alexander Junior High School.

My hobbies include reading, playing the piano, and traveling.  I also enjoy watching Mississippi State sports, and I love competition reality shows such as Big Brother and Survivor.
