Nancy Fisher

Dear Mamie Martin Family,

I am excited and honored to begin my fourth year as principal at Mamie Martin!  Our school is where students begin their educational career and we do not take that responsibility lightly.  Our staff does an incredible job of laying the foundation in literacy and math fluency for our students.  We want all our students to succeed and with collaborative planning, patience and determination, we will make positive things happen for their futures!

At Martin, children are our priority, and we are committed to keeping them safe as well as preparing them for success.  It is my hope that you, as parents, will join us in this endeavor and share in our excitement of developing students that love learning and are growing into productive citizens with excellent character.  As an Ole Brook parent, you are a partner in your child’s education.  We want you to feel connected to MME and welcome the opportunity to meet with you to discuss any of your questions or concerns.

I am a product of the Brookhaven School District.  My parents were educators in this district and both of my daughters graduated from Brookhaven High School. To say I’m invested in this district is an understatement.  I want to see our schools keep the bar of excellence held high.  Our hope is that our students have a great year of learning, having fun, and making sweet memories. My door is always open to you.  Feel free to contact me by phone at 601-833-0007 or by email at [email protected].  I am looking forward to a great year where Ole Brook traditions begin.  Thank you for entrusting us with your children.

Sincerely,

Nancy Fisher, Principal
